There have been some important updates in the resources available from LKS ASE which are available to read on their recently published newsletter.

You can view the newsletter here: https://sway.office.com/Zx7vE20LtEn8jcmK

Most notably, this includes the addition of the Comorbidities tool for BMJ Best Practice.

Health Education England (HEE) has extended their national subscription to BMJ Best Practice to include the Comorbidities Manager for all NHS staff and learners in England. The BMJ Best Practice Comorbidities Manager supports the management of the whole patient by including guidance on the treatment of a patient’s acute condition alongside their pre-existing comorbidities.

BMJ Best Practice is a practical tool to help clinicians meet the changing and more complex needs of patients and maximise NHS resources, together resulting in better care for patients.

The Library & Knowledge Service for NHS Ambulance Services in England is available for all staff in EEAST. Their services are document supply, literature searching, current awareness and guides and help on various aspects of information skills.
