Volunteers’ Week 2022 roundup

This year’s Volunteers’ Week, which was celebrated between 1^st and 7^th June, gave EEAST staff an opportunity to give their thanks to our incredible volunteers.

The Community Response Team, led by Head of Community Response Lorna Hayes hosted two events at the Trust headquarters in Melbourn, which allowed for those eligible to receive their Jubilee medals and Long Service Awards.

Throughout the week volunteers shared their stories on Need to Know, and the week was concluded with a live event on Tuesday evening, full of thanks from all the different volunteering teams, as well as recorded messages from those that were unable to attend. The event was concluded with a selection of photos from the week.
