Warning about phishing email

We have received reports of a sophisticated phishing email that is circulating the Trust.

Dear colleagues

We have been notified about some malicious phishing emails that are currently circulating. The emails in question may appear to come from a Trust email account (this is known as spoofing) and may suggest that you need to change/reset your password and provides a link to do so. See the example below (this is a screenshot so safe to view). Please be extra cautious and report any suspicious emails via Egress Defend or to phishing@eastamb.nhs.uk.

If you think that you may have clicked on a suspicious link/opened a suspicious attachment, please contact the Information Governance team as soon as possible.
