Waste Management training

We are preparing to make some changes to the way we segregate our clinical waste, in line with national NHS targets, and to support our sustainability journey.

This is, however, just one of many waste streams we use across the Trust, and we all have a shared responsibility to make sure our waste is segregated and disposed of appropriately. That is why we have introduced a bespoke Waste Management training package as part of the Trust’s mandatory e-learning. 

The short training module covers all types of waste, including recycling, confidential and clinical.  This is now available on all staff e-learning profile, whether you are still on Evolve or have moved to OLM, and hope that this will provide some insight as to why waste segregation is so important.

Please note that we are aware of the error message which appears part way through the training, this does not affect completion of the training or assessment content, but we are working with the software developers to resolve.
