Workforce directorate staff updates

Thank you to Stas Chobrzynski

Many of you will know Stas Chobrzynski, who joined us in January this year as Interim deputy Director of Workforce, on a six month fixed term contract to help drive forward some of our key workforce improvement initiatives. Stas has made a very welcome and valuable contribution to the work of the directorate and its role in supporting the organisation’s recovery plans and actions relating to the CQC and EHRC requirements, much of which we will build into our ways of working going forward.

As a professional interim, Stas is keen to make a positive impact on his assignments and then move on to further challenges. In this respect, he has decided to complete his fixed term appointment with us at its natural conclusion on 10^th July and explore other options. I am grateful for the input I’ve had from Stas during my introduction to EEAST and the workforce directorate. I hope colleagues will join me in thanking him for all that he has implemented during his time here and for his commitment to the organisation. We wish him all the very best for the future.

Welcome to new wellbeing lead

I am delighted to welcome Rob Dimsdale, who has joined us this month as Interim Wellbeing Lead, following the recent departure of Debra Winterson.

Rob has a wealth of experience in leading staff health and wellbeing and occupational health services in the NHS, including at acute, mental health and community, and ambulance trusts, as well as the police. This experience is already being brought to bear on co-ordinating our well-being offers and interventions and Rob will be instrumental in consolidating and further developing our network of Well-being Ambassadors.
