Your payslip is now available with ESR

You can now access your May payslip through ESR. Please note that as a Trust we have moved to electronic payslips from April.

From now on, payslips are will only be accessible electronically via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Self Service Portal ( plus via the ESR App on your iPads and mobile phones). You can now view your payslip for this month by logging in to ESR. Along with viewing and downloading your current ad historic payslips, you can also access your Total Rewards pension statement, update your personal data and download your P60.

We hope everyone has been able to log in into ESR. If you haven’t able to log in yet, it is to be noted that logging into ESR for the first time has to be met with certain requirements.

 

Where do I find the ESR log in?

The link to log in s here https://my.esr.nhs.uk/. The ESR link can also be found on the Trust desktops. Alternatively, you can find the link under Quick Links and ESR Self Service Hub Guide pages on East24.

 

Can I use my Phone or Ipad to login to ESR?

Yes, but only after you have logged in via a Trust PC and enabled Remote Access.

 

Why do I have to use a Trust PC for the first login?

Due to the information available, this is a security measure to protect you and your data.

 

Can you set me up and just send me my username & password?

Unfortunately, not. Again for personal information protection, this needs to be done by yourself.

 

What are the password guidelines?

Password parameters are very strict within ESR, the password you choose must be 12 characters or more in length.

• It may not be the same as previous four passwords.
• It cannot be made up of any personal details, such as employee number / payroll number / date of birth.
• Avoid using CAPITAL letters as these are rejected in certain circumstances.
• It cannot have any consecutive letters or numbers ie: 12345 or qwerty. Certain words and terms are not permitted within passwords.

If you enter a password and it isn't accepted, please choose a different one. Do not try the same one over and over, as you will lock your account.

 

I have a question about my Total Reward Statement?

Any question regarding the TRS should be directed to Chris Frost in the Payroll Team.

 

I have tried multiple times, but still can't login?

You may have "Locked" your account. Please contact esrselfservice@eastamb.nhs.uk for assistance.

 

Is there any alternative to Online Payslips?

After the 1st April there will be no paper payslips produced for substantive Employees. In due course all payslips will only be available electronically.
