Your help is required to keep the 4,000 plus public access AEDs active and operational that we have located across our trust region.
We have now requested all AED site guardians to register their AEDs on to The Circuit, a new AED database. This has been done over the last three months so all sites should now be registered and linked to our CAD system.
When the crew arrives on scene, could we please ask that you remind the 999 caller to return the AED back to where they got it from. This will enable the local guardian to clean, restock and put the AED back on to The Circuit and be available for use again.
Your help and support will assist us - and save the AED from getting lost or going missing!
If you are aware of any community access AED’s that you have seen on an Ambulance Station, could you please let us know so that we can try to repatriate it back to where they should be
Please email the make, model and any identifying markings or details to: defibs@eastamb.nhs.uk
