They were tough enough!

Tough Mudders end of event

A group of paramedics and friends from south-east Essex successfully completed the Tough Mudder course in London at the weekend and have so far raised more than £800 for charity.

Kate Bennett, a paramedic from Rayleigh, Essex, said: “After 12 miles of mud, enough hill climbs to scale Everest and regular dunks in ice baths, we managed to get the team through with only cuts, bruises, aches and pains to show for it. The money we have raised though has made it worth it!”

Well done to the 18 members of EEAST staff and their five friends who completed the course. There’s still time to donate to Scottys Little Soldiers, the group’s chosen charity via the JustGiving website.
