100% of patients happy with ‘world class’ ambulance staff

Staff with patient in ambulance

Ambulance staff have been described as “faultless”, “exemplary” and “super kind” in the latest patient survey.

One hundred percent of respondents said they were very satisfied or satisfied with the care they had received from the ambulance staff.

Call handlers were also praised with 100% of respondents saying their call was very acceptable, acceptable or fairly acceptable.

Comments from 96 respondents to June’s patient report included: “Staff were very polite and professional”; “I have nothing but praise for them [staff]”; “Excellent, cannot fault the service received”; “I know once you get to me I am safe and in great hands”; “Simply put, outstanding”.

All respondents praised the ambulance staff they were in contact with as ‘very professional’, and the same number said they were treated with dignity and respect by crews.

More than 98% said the service had exceeded or met their expectations.

Chief Executive Robert Morton said: “I’m thrilled to see these outstanding results that show how all of you put excellent patient care at the centre of our service. Well done everyone.”
