2020 Eyecare voucher scheme

Concept ambulance NTK

We are very pleased to announce that we have now teamed up with Vision Express to create the new EEAST eyecare voucher scheme.

Launched today, August 6, a voucher entitles you to a free Vision Express eye check-up and, if required, a pair of prescription glasses from the company’s basic range. Alternatively, your local Vision Express will be able to give you £45 off a pair of prescription glasses from any other range of glasses. Anything over this amount will need to be paid by you.

So, if you’re a habitual DSE user and you’d like to apply for a Vision Express eyecare voucher, all you need to do is to download a Habitual Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Users Form from EAST 24. A blank form can also be requested via wellbeing@eastamb.nhs.uk. This is also the email address you will need to send your completed form to.

If you are eligible for a voucher this will be emailed to you. All you then need to do is contact the Vision Express store of your choice to arrange your check-up. However, please do not book your check-up until you have received your voucher, which you will need to print off and take with you to your appointment. Vouchers are valid for 3 months. Please note that no eye-test or glasses’ costs can be paid by EEAST retrospectively.
