#24HoursinEoE is back!

This Friday (19th August) sees the return of our 24-hour ‘twitterthon’ – #24HoursinEoE, the summer edition!

Our first ever 24-hour Twitterthon took place last year on 'Black Friday', when we tweeted live for 24 hours across the Trust during one of our busiest days and nights of the year due to Christmas parties and nights-out . This time, we are aiming to expand it by covering more areas of work from across EEAST, including non-emergency and support services, and giving a glimpse at the pressures we face during the summer.

We kick things off from 7.30am in the Chelmsford emergency operations centre (EOC), and will be visiting our other two EOCs as well as out with an A&E crew again, but this time we will also be spending time with the patient transport service, training, fleet, and a community first responder.

You can follow and support the event on our Twitter page @EastEnglandAmb from 7.30am - and please don’t forget to RT.

If you’re not on Twitter but want to see what we are up to, you can view our tweets on our website homepage.
