Blood pressure workshop in Cambridge: book your place today

Places for a workshop dedicated to tackling high blood pressure in Cambridgeshire are available for all staff.

Supported by a new national programme and led by Public Health England, the event will be taking place in Cambridge on 10th February.

The day will explore key evidence and resources in relation to the pathway for high blood pressure, covering prevention, detection and management through a mix of evidence sessions, practical advice, examples of good work in practice, and group exercises.

Speakers will include Dr Matt Kearney, practising GP and founding member of the Primary Care CVD Leadership Forum, Dr Mike Kirby, Editor of the Primary Care Cardiovascular Journal and former GP, and Jamie Waterall, National Lead for the NHS Health Check programme.

The event will take place at Homerton Conference Centre (Homerton College, Hills Rd, Cambridge CB2 8PH), with registration and coffee from 9.30am. The workshops themselves will run from 10am-4pm.
