Can you give us a helping hand at events?

CPRathon

As readers may remember the Trust and our critical care charity partners are running a ‘CPRathon’ in the region on 12th September – but we still need volunteers to help demonstrate CPR to members of the public.

Events are being held around the region on the day at the same time, and help is particularly needed in Downham Market, Bedford, Luton, Cambridge and Peterborough. This is to allow sufficient number of people to swap shifts during the CPRathon. It’s open to staff and volunteers to help out, and a big thanks to those people who have already got their name down.

Chelmer Shopping Centre

The Trust’s patient and public involvement (PPI) team is looking for volunteers at a public event in Chelmsford.

The team regularly holds these events to engage with the public, offering free blood pressure check and healthcare advice. They also provide information about the service and ask for people’s views and feedback on the ambulance service.

The PPI team would be grateful for some help at Chelmer Shopping Centre on Thursday 10th September, 9-3.30pm, from clinical members of staff.
