Chloe's ready to walk the walk

walk the walk

Bedford emergency clinical advice and triage centre (ECAT) Clinician Chloe Dyer has some interesting plans for her Saturday night this weekend; she will be joining thousands of other participants to take part in a 15.2 mile trek across London.

The Moonwalk event encourages participants to dress up to this year’s ‘roaring twenties’ theme, complete with special bra, to raise awareness and money for breast cancer. Chloe, who will be joined by her mum and best friend Caz, has been raising funds leading up to the walk, including holding a bake sale at Bedford EOC.

“Cancer research is a charity which is close to a lot of people hearts as there are so many people who are affected by this horrible disease”, says Chloe, “especially my friend who I will be doing the walk with – she lost her mother to cancer at age 15 so it’s very important to us.”

Best of luck for the weekend Chloe!
