We’ve been made aware of some potentially faulty drawing-up needles:
A Datix has been logged where the drawing-up needle was reportedly missing, despite the packaging still being fully secure.
We’re asking staff to please check stores on station (particularly for this batch number) to see if this is a widespread problem. If you find needles missing, please keep the packaging and then pass it to a duty locality officer (DLO) on your station, who should then return it to stores at the earliest opportunity.
