Staff engagement forum – POSTPONED

Side of RRV with lozenge

As you know EEAST is currently under tremendous pressure, what with the ever increasing rise in 999 demand, the higher acuity of our patients, student paramedic abstractions for training and mentoring, and hospital handover delays – and these issues inadvertently have a knock-on effect on the whole service, whatever role you support. As an executive team we are concerned about the potential impact these pressures could have on patient safety and our staff.

Therefore we have had to take the difficult decision to postpone the staff engagement event which was going to take place on Thursday.  We are currently looking at rescheduling it at a time when we have more space to debate how we develop our Trust. Whilst this is naturally disappointing, we want to make sure we give staff engagement the right time and consideration, which is just not going to be possible this week.  When we have a new date we will let you know.
