CFR group in Norfolk celebrate another two fundraising donations

It’s been a busy week for the Stalham and Smallburgh First Responder group who are celebrating another two fund raising donations.

Recently, Tim Thirst and George Cooper from the first responder group in North Norfolk went to visit the Roys of Wroxham department store in Wroxham, Norfolk where they were presented with a cheque for £250 by the Store Manager, Darren Coles towards the purchase of a defibrillator trainer.

This item is used to train the public on how to use defibrillator machines that can be found in schools, pubs, shops etc and forms part of the group's current educational fund raising program.

Then, last weekend members of the St. Benet Lodge, Norfolk Freemasonry, held another successful garden party to raise money for the Stalham and Smallburgh First Responder Group.

On the day, the Stalham Brass Band gave a concert during the afternoon and group members gave demonstrations on CPR and use of a defibrillator.

The hundreds who attended also had food and drink provided during the day in the lovely surroundings.

Final figures are not in yet, but the first responder group looks likely to benefit by an incredible £1000!
