EEAST RRVs and amb on scene

Staff have been commended in EEAST’s latest survey which included comments such as “exceptional”, “exemplary” and “first class”.

Almost 180 responded to the Trust’s July and August experience survey.

One hundred per cent of respondents from August’s survey described the service as very satisfactory or satisfaction, compared to 98% in July’s survey.

A patient from north Bedfordshire, said: “The paramedics were amazing, can’t thank them enough. We feel we owe them a lot.”

Whilst another from west Norfolk, said: “My care was exceptional and can't think of anything that could be improved.”

Other high scoring areas for EEAST included attitude of staff, where 100 per cent of respondents for August and more than 99 per cent for July found staff treated patients with respect, and 97 per cent of respondents for August found ambulance staff to be very professional.

Robert Morton, EEAST Chief Executive, said: “I’m delighted to see that despite the increasing pressures we are facing, we are still able to deliver such a high standard of care, and these comments are a testament to that.”
