The College of Paramedics would like to invite staff to apply for the 2016 Carol Furber Award.

The purpose of the award is to encourage members of the College of Paramedics to make case study presentations. This will promote reflection on professional practice and enable the results and experience to be presented to the wider profession and other health care practitioners.

You are invited to submit presentations for consideration of the award by the 29th January 2016. Your presentation should be written to protect patient confidentiality, using original text with references as appropriate and countersigned by a registered Paramedic, supporting your work as a genuine case study. There should be no more than 1000 words, excluding references, front cover and appendices.

The winner will be assisted to publish their work in the College newsletter, the Journal of Paramedic Practice and on the College website.

The award is presented in memory of the late Carol Furber who contributed so much to the College.

Please send submissions to Penny Jones, Head of Administrative Services, College of Paramedics, The Exchange, Express Park, Bristol Road, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4RR.

For further information, please email penny.jones@collegeofparamedics.co.uk , no later than Friday 29th January 2016.
