Arranging care for children when treating their parent/guardian

The Trust has released guidance for crews and volunteers for when arranging care for patients' dependents under the age of 18.

It is recognised that the COVID-19 situation is unprecedented. Our crews/volunteers will experience unique challenges when arranging care for a dependent who is a child (under 18 years old).  It is paramount that we always act in the best interests of the child(ren).

The Trust has therefore produced guidance on decision-making in these circumstances and how to get additional guidance and support when needed.

The guidance can be downloaded as a PDF here and as a text document on the JRCALC App.

It can also be found on our Up-to-date Guidance on COVID-19 page.
