Award for NARS volunteers

Volunteer emergency response team Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS) secured the top spot at a regional awards ceremony.

The team from NARS, which is a charity made up of doctors and paramedics who volunteer to support life-saving emergency response in the community, attended the Stars of Norfolk and Waveney awards, which were organised by the Eastern Daily Press earlier this month (December).

They won the team of the year at the awards evening at St Andrew’s Hall in Norwich.

Norwich paramedic Lydia Lawrence was also nominated for an award at the annual event.
