Hopes are high in the Comms team for a double Thursday delight in two awards schemes.

Tonight (Thursday 24th), Internal Communications Manager Tara Rose will be at the Health Education East Leadership Awards, having been shortlisted in the Emerging Leader category. Nearly 200 nominations were made for the awards, and Tara is one of just three people in the running. Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, Navrita Atwal, has also been shortlisted in the Inclusive Leader of the Year category. We wish Navrita and Tara the best of luck!

Next Thursday, the team are up against organisations from around the country at the comms2point0 awards.  The Trust’s Twitter page is shortlisted in the Best Social Media Account award, and a public vote for Best Communications Team and Best Blog closed yesterday (Wednesday).

Joy Hale, Head of Communications, said: “We’re extremely proud of Tara who has been with the Trust for five years; she exemplifies the Trust values and is a fantastic person to work with.

“Our Web and Digital Officer Gail Huggins ensures our social media platforms are match-fit every day of the year, and we’re so pleased our popular Twitter account is being recognised on a national platform. It’s given a ‘live’ voice to patients, stakeholders, staff and volunteers and helps us showcase the Trust every day.

“Thank you to everyone in the organisation who supports and champions engagement and communications.”

The team are based in Melbourn and Norwich. You can find out more about their work, and when you might need them, here.
