BBR – what’s happening now?

A & B Options have been achieved for all areas and can be located in the final Working Party packs on EAST24.

Final Voting Period has now commenced, which runs 19th August - 2nd September, 2019. Those remaining stations who achieved their A & B options, following Working Party 8, will have started voting this week on 19th August, 2019 (unless a reason to delay voting has previously been identified and agreed with the BBR Working Group). This final voting period will conclude on the 2nd September, enabling the votes to be counted by 6th September. The voting outcome can then be announced on the 9th September, which is when the Consultation Letters are due to be sent, marking the start of the 45 Day Consultation period.

45 Day Consultation Period – Following the conclusion of the voting process, all affected employees will be entitled to at least 2 x 1:1 consultations with their respective Assistant General Manager (AGM). Please contact your AGM directly if you require a meeting. The consultation meetings will be managed locally and can either be arranged as overtime, or abstraction from shift.

GRS and Payroll Processing -– The BBR team are meeting with their respective areas, to work through the line allocation work required for Rostering Services. These will need to include the finalised rota choices and employee names (or a vacancy) assigned to individual lines, together with an anticipated go-live date.

Confirmation of Go-Live Date – The go-live date for each station will be agreed jointly and severally with AGMs, GMs, Sector Heads, Estates and Fleet, together with the BBR team.

30 Day Notification of Change Period – required for all employees affected by any change to their rota, which will be confirmed in the 30 Day Notification of Change letter.

The following table outlines the timelines for each of these stages for your guidance:
