BBR - NEXT STEPS REMINDER – What’s happening now?

For those stations who voted following Working Party 6

You will now be in your 45 Day consultation period, which is due to conclude on Friday 29th August.

During consultation period, your AGM will complete the line allocation work required by Rostering Services. Once this has been completed, it will be shared with the BBRWG, who will pass the information to Rostering Services, where it will be uploaded to GRS ready for each individual station agreed go live date. The AGMs must also regularly update their respective planners during this process.

For those stations who voted following Working Party 7

You will also be in your 45 Day consultation period, which started on Monday 12th August and will run until 26th September. The consultation meetings will be managed locally - please contact your AGM directly if you require a meeting. 

For those stations currently voting following Working Party 8

The final voting period following WP8 will run from 19th August to 2nd September. The votes will then be counted by 6th September, prior to the voting outcome being announced on the 9th September. The Consultation Letters will then be sent at this time, marking the start of the 45 Day Consultation period. All affected employees will be entitled to at least 2 x 1:1 consultations with their respective AGM. Therefore please contact your AGM directly if you require a meeting, which will be managed locally as either overtime or abstraction from shift.

GRS Upload - For Rostering Services to be able to upload the new rota onto GRS, they will require completion of the line allocation work (including finalised rota choices, employees’ names/ or vacancy assigned to individual lines, together with an anticipated go live date). The BBRWG will continue to support their areas in producing this information.

Go Live Date - The go live date for each station will be agreed between the respective AGM, GM, Sector Head, together with estates, fleet and the BBRWG. The decision will be dependent upon staffing levels, in addition to fleet and estates capacity.

30 Day Notification of Change PeriodOn completion of the consultation period and when the above steps have been completed, a 30-day Notification of Change letter will be issued to all employees affected by any change to their rota.
