BBR weekly update

Building Better Rotas Frontpage

BBR – Essential Next Steps

For those stations who voted following Working Party 6

You will have recently concluded your 45 Day consultation period, on Friday 29th August and for those with a confirmed *go live date you will now be in receipt of your 30 Day notification letter.

*(The go live date for each station will be agreed between the respective AGM, GM, Sector Head, together with estates, fleet and the BBR team.  This decision will be dependent upon sufficient staffing levels, in addition to sufficient fleet and estates capacity. Only when this has been approved will a 30 day Notification of Change letter be issued to employees affected by any change to their rota)

Your AGM will have also completed the line allocation in preparation for the new rota to be uploaded onto *GRS by Rostering Services during this time.

*(For Rostering Services to be able to upload the new rota onto GRS, they will require completion of the line allocation work, which includes; finalised rota choices, employees names/ or vacancy assigned to individual lines, together with an anticipated go live date, which the BBR team will continue to support their areas in working through)

**Please can we remind all AGMs to kindly share the completed line allocation work with the BBR team, which we can then pass to Rostering Services in order for them to upload ready for the stations own go live date. AGM’s will also need to update their respective planners at this time. **

For those stations who voted following Working Party 7

You will still be in your 45 Day consultation period which started on Monday 12th August and will run until 26th September. Please contact your AGM directly if you require a meeting.  The consultation meetings will be managed locally and can either be arranged as overtime or abstraction from shift.

For those stations who voted following Working Party 8

The final voting period following WP8 concluded on 2nd September, (unless a reason to delay voting has previously been identified and agreed with the BBR Working Group).

The votes will then be counted by 6th September, prior to the voting outcome being announced on the 9th September. The Consultation Letters will then be sent at this time marking the start of the 45 Day Consultation period. All affected employees will be entitled to at least 2 x 1:1 consultations with their respective AGM, therefore please contact your AGM directly if you require a meeting, which will be managed locally as either overtime or abstraction from shift.
