BBR weekly update

Building Better Rotas Frontpage

The BBR Working Group would like to pass on best wishes to all colleagues for a very happy new year.

January will see a large number of stations go live with their new BBR rotas. Following on from this, the next set of Go Live Dates will take place during February 2020. The new rota patterns for the stations with February go live dates have been uploaded onto GRS. If you are not able to view your new rota, please contact your local planning teams. You should have also received your 30 Day Notification of Change Letter.

Many thanks to all working party reps, managers and staff for enabling us to get to this position.

Please remember the go live date for each station will vary and that your actual date is indicated within the 30 Day Notification of Change Letter. If you are unsure of your own rota go live date, please contact your AGM.

Luton

It has come to our attention that an error has been identified within one specific rota being operated at Luton ambulance station. The local management team, staff reps, BBR team and WTS have been working closely together to assess the impact of this, to identify mitigation steps and to swiftly produce alternative rotas for discussion with affected staff so that resolution can be reached as soon as possible. In order to provide further reassurance, we are currently checking all other rotas ahead of their go live date.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved for their patience and in their proactive actions in providing an interim solution in the meantime.

Should any colleagues have any questions, please contact your locality management team or the BBR Working Group.

Throughout the BBR process, the Working Group have maintained an open and honest approach and feel that it is important to continue this approach and therefore inform staff about this issue.
