BBR weekly update

Building Better Rotas Frontpage

This week has seen many stations across the Trust go live with their new BBR rotas. Many thanks to all working party reps, managers and staff for enabling this achievement.

Following this, the next set of go lives will take place on Monday 20th January 2020. Please remember the go live date for each station will vary and that your actual date is indicated within your 30 Day Notification of Change Letter. If you are unsure of your own rota go live date or have not received your 30 Day Notification of Change Letter, please contact your AGM. 

The new rota patterns for the stations with February go live dates have been uploaded onto GRS, so please take some time to familiarise yourselves with these patterns and any changes to your place of work, shift times etc as agreed during your consultation period.

If you are not able to view your new rota, please contact your local planning teams. 

We are continuing to work with our estates and fleet colleagues to address any outstanding issues to ensure that everything is in place for those stations with March go live dates.

Non-Para Lines:

A concern has been raised with us that non paramedic lines are currently not being filled in some areas but instead being held for developmental posts. 

We can categorically confirm and assure you that this is not the case and that lines (with the exception of mentoring lines) will be offered to appropriately skilled staff, who wish to take up a permanent rota line.  

We are aware that, in some cases, there has been a delay in assigning lines due to requirements of the transfer process, which is managed at AGM level, but these have now been addressed. Therefore, please contact your AGM in the first instance should you require any further clarification.
