Be part of Earth Day

Earth Day

Celebrated every year on April 22nd, Earth Day is the international day of environmental action bringing together over a billion people globally to help in the fight against climate change.

This year's theme is "Restore Our Earth" and organisers are urging people to focus on how we can all reduce our impact on the planet.

In support of Earth Day, one of our Green Champions, Katy-Lee Winter, is organising litter picks across central Hertfordshire (Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Tring and St Albans). There are also thousands of local community events taking place which can be found here: Event Map — Digital Earth Day  To find out more about Earth Day visit: EARTHDAY.ORG

If you would like to get involved with Katy's litter pick or other Earth Day events the please let us know at sustainability@eastamb.nhs.uk.
