Be the first to hear our culture results

what do you stand for image

Earlier this year we asked you to take part in a culture survey, which was designed to help us develop, and ultimately improve, the culture here at EEAST – and we're pleased to say that the results are in.

We’ll be sharing the data Trust-wide soon, but in the meantime we’d like to run a series of focus groups with colleagues and volunteers to get your insight into what the results are telling us – both good and bad. Those that attend will be the first at EEAST to see and comment on the results, and we’d love to have you involved!

At the focus groups we’ll be giving you an overview of the results, looking at them in detail with you to better understand  them, and people’s feelings, and get your ideas and feedback of how we build on the positives, and most importantly, how we take forward areas needing development.

If this sounds like something you’d like to join, we’re running four sessions over the next few weeks:

  • Monday, 17th October, 1-4pm* in Bedford (Kings House, MK42 9AZ) *please note time change from that originally detailed
  • Tuesday, 18th October, 2-5pm* at the Bob Champion Research and Education Building, University of East Anglia in Norwich (NR4 7TJ) *please note time and venue change from that originally detailed
  • Wednesday, 19th October , 2-5pm in Southend (Unit 12, SS2 6UN)
  • Monday, 31st October, 2-5pm in Melbourn

Everyone is welcome and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible. We know that everyone is incredibly busy and finding the time to attend a face to face feedback session can be difficult. Unfortunately, with the pressures the Trust is currently under we can’t abstract you to attend, but we will endeavour to give toil wherever possible (subject to management approval).

But don’t worry, if you can’t make a focus group in person we will be running some online interactive sessions to share the results and gather your feedback – watch this space as more details will be coming soon.

Once we’ve gathered your thoughts, feedback and suggestions, we’ll be combining them with the other survey feedback and the overall cultural audit findings to produce a comprehensive report and action plan.  These will of course be published and shared with all of you, and we’re hoping to pull together a representative group of staff and volunteers to help develop the plan, take forward the actions, and evaluate success.

If you would like to attend a session, please check with your manager that they’re happy for you to attend, and contact Caroline to book a place.
