Become a flu fighter this festive season

It is a time for giving and sharing. However, flu is something no one wants to receive during the festive season.

You can protect yourself, your family and colleagues by attending a flu vaccination drop-in on Friday 22nd December at the following places:

  • Broomfield, Chelmsford, between 7am and 3pm
  • Brooklands station in Bury St Edmunds between 8am and 4pm
  • Longwater depot in Costessey between 9am and 3pm.

Almost 60% of all staff have had their vaccinations or returned their forms so far.

For every vaccination given, the Trust will send an equal number of tetanus vaccinations to third world countries through UNICEF.

If you don’t want a vaccination, your involvement still matters, so please remember to return your completed forms. If you have lost your form, a new one can be downloaded and printed off via East24.

For flu clinic dates in your area and more information about the flu programme, visit East24 here.  Any questions contact flu@eastamb.nhs.uk
