Beds and Luton BAME Forum meeting date

Ambulance line up blue sky

As part of our commitment to support our Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people in Beds & Luton A&E, Bedford AOC and Beds, Herts and West Essex PTS areas, we are having our second Local BAME Forum on Wednesday 16th December at 9am-11am.

We would love all our BAME staff to join us, to actively participate or just listen-in.  It is critical that our people feel safe and supported at work and we are asking you to help us make key changes as we work towards everyone looking forward to coming to work, every day!

You can request an invite to the meeting by contacting Amy.Trussell@eastamb.nhs.uk.  Please encourage your colleagues to attend - we want this to be a forum for BAME colleagues, where you can talk openly and help us make changes.

Our expectation is that if you are working, your managers will look favourably on a request to be stood down for this period or make alternative arrangements, although they do need to retain autonomy on specific decisions.  Please talk to them in advance to gain their support with attending this important meeting.
