Biatain Silicone training is now on Evolve

Frontline clinicians, of all grades, can now access the Biatain Silicone Skin Tear Management familiarisation and training session via Evolve.

The learning support package includes a recorded training session, EEAST Skin Tear Management Pathway, FAQ sheet, knowledge check and a CPD certificate.

After the session, staff will be able to:

• Recognise, describe and classify different types of skin tear
• Describe skin anatomy and skin tear mechanism of injury
• Use the EEAST Skin Tear Management Pathway 
• Apply Biatain Silicone to suitable patients
• Arrange suitable follow up and give patients sound aftercare advice
