It is with great sadness that we share the news that Bob Walker, a former EEAST paramedic died on Saturday 14th November.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.

For any colleagues who knew Bob well and wish to go to his funeral, the service will be at Gorleston Crematorium on Friday 27th November at 10.40am.

There will be a gathering afterwards at the Pier Hotel, Gorleston at 11:30am.

The dress code is smart formal and uniforms may be worn if you would prefer. Bob’s family have also said that any Norwich City fans are encouraged to wear their home shirts to recognise his support of the club (no other teams please).

There is a web page set up by the Funeral Directors adrian.walker.muchloved.com where you can find information about the funeral and also make a donation to the Air Ambulance. Bob’s family have requested only family flowers.

If you are working and would like to attend, please see a DLO.

If you have any questions about the arrangements, please contact Gary Palmer on 07917204055.

If you’ve been affected by Bob’s death and need support, please remember that the Trust’s employee assistance programme is available at any time. It’s free, confidential, runs 24/7 and can be accessed either on the phone or online. Just visit www.well-online.co.uk  (user name: EEASTlogin, password: wellbeing), or call 0800 085 1376.
