Booking now live for local covid boosters

Boost your immunity this winter

The Trust has made a commitment to ensure equity of access to the booster program outside of the JCVI guidance by boosting the immunity of all our employees. From Wednesday 4th October, you will be able to have your Covid booster at one of the nine hubs throughout the region.

The internal covid booster vaccination programme is available for all EEAST employees, in particular for those employees who would not be eligible for the vaccination through the national booking service (NBS). The vaccination clinics will be located at Longwater, Newmarket, Weeley, Waveney, Chelmsford, Stevenage, Kempston, Peterborough and Cambridge.

The clinics are now live and ready for you to book on Evolve:

HSCWs, patient facing staff and CFRs are able to book onto an internal clinic, however you are still encouraged to access the National Booking Service (NBS) via Book or manage your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination - NHS (www.nhs.uk) or calling 119 to find a clinic location and time to suit you. This will require you to self-declare as a HSCW. On attendance of your appointment, you will just need your Trust ID confirming your clinical role within the Trust. Please do not book an appointment to attend during a workday as you will not be stood down to attend.

Booster jabs are only to be given once you are 6 months past your 2nd dose. Please do not book a Covid booster if it has not been 6 months as you will be turned away and may end up wasting the Vaccine.

Important – tell us you’ve had your jab

We need to record every vaccination, whether you have had this done at EEAST or externally. For both Flu and/or Covid booster, please complete the survey below. It will only take you a few minutes to complete.
