Building access restrictions in place

Transparent EEAST crest

In line with our business continuity plans for events such as coronavirus we review a number of areas to provide protection and reduce risk.

We have reviewed the risk associated with coronavirus and have identified it is appropriate to restrict access to ambulance placements (excluding student paramedics and internal learners), ambulance stations and control rooms.

This is a proactive step in response to a risk review and not in response to a specific issue or concern.

With effective from 7.00am on the 17 February we are therefore restricting access for ambulance placements (excluding student paramedics and internal learners), ambulance stations and control rooms to essential visitors only. Essential is considered business critical activities and advice should be sought from your line manager for further guidance.

This action will be reviewed every 48 hours and you will be informed if this changes, with no notification of change this instruction remains in place.
