Call HART for Carfentanil incidents

The National Ambulance Resilience Unit (NARU) released guidance to road staff dealing with a deadly new drug.

Carfentanil is 5,000 more potent than the same unit of Morphine, and 100 times more potent than the same unit of Fentanyl. The case of a drug user in Wiltshire has sparked a warning by police of this drug in use.

The danger is that the drug can be absorbed through the mucous membrane, or breaks in skin. It's vital that if you suspect Carfentanil you contact HART who have appropriate PPE to treat the patient.
