All week we’ve been focusing on CallEEAST and the varied work they do for nearly 80 different partner organisations. As the week draws to a close, let’s hear what one of their partners thinks of the service they provide.

Annie Cant, Nursing Development Director at Bourn Hall said:

‘Bourn Hall has employed the services of East of England Ambulance Service for our out-of-hours emergency support for our patients for many years and have always been provided with an excellent service. It is essential that the clinic has a system in place which provides this important patient support during times when the clinics are not open, and it has proved invaluable. Patients are re-assured that they can have access to advice from our specialised staff via this service, and the staff at the EEAST are always diligent in ensuring every call is handled sympathetically and promptly.'

“Bourn Hall was the world’s first IVF clinic and at CallEEAST, we provide the organisation with out of hours calls, whether it’s fertility related queries, medication advice or general enquiries. All calls received are logged on our contact centre software, and we contact the on call Bourn Hall consultant to ensure these patients receive timely advice”
