CallEEAST - who are our partners?

Call EEAST partners

As part of our CallEEAST week on NeedtoKnow, we want to give you some additional insights into who are current partners are.

The team support a total of 79 different contracts offering bespoke solutions to a diverse client base from GP surgeries to solicitors.

A significant part of our role is to provide enquiry and booking lines for patient transport in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire, South, West & North Essex by screening patients to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria as set out by the various CCGs. Where callers are not eligible, we signpost them to other services that may be appropriate for their needs. As well as taking bookings, we run the day control for the Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire areas overnight and the patient transport out of hours line for the EEAST PTS manager on call.

In addition to our PTS commitment, CallEEAST are proud to be partnered up with a number of healthcare organisations including:

  • Birmingham Community Healthcare
  • Norfolk Night Nurses
  • Norfolk Midwives
  • CCG Managers on Call
  • Norfolk Community Healthcare
  • Norfolk Children’s Community Nursing
  • Public Health (EoE)
  • Social Services

CallEEAST also provides cover (both contracted and ad-hoc) for a number of GPs surgeries (50+) in Norfolk. Our future plans include expanding our cover to accommodate other areas throughout the East of England (and then nationally!).

However, our portfolio isn’t just limited to PTS and healthcare, we have a wide range of contracts outside of these areas that include:

  • Oakwood Vets
  • Three Rivers Vets
  • Wherry Vets
  • Ice Refrigeration (who deal with all of the servicing nationally for Iceland)
  • Althea (who service medical equipment)
  • Kennedy’s Solicitors (who offer legal advice to Healthcare Professionals)

We’re always on the lookout for new partners so if you have any suggestions please contact us on CallEEAST@eastamb.nhs.uk.
