The EEAST communications team is looking for your stories of some of the most memorable inappropriate 999 calls you have received.
Have you been left speechless by emergency calls from patients with stubbed toes and sore throats? Have people called 999 for their sick pets or rung EEAST because they want a taxi home?
The communications team is compiling a list of some of the most common inappropriate 999 calls to highlight to the public that EEAST is an emergency service and should be used wisely.
Media Officer Adam Gretton would like to hear your stories. Also, when you come across any, please email the CAD number to adam.gretton@eastamb.nhs.uk.
Patient confidentially will be maintained at all times.
