Calling all EEAST dads

What do your children think you do for a job?

To celebrate Father’s Day this year, we’re asking children of EEAST dads what they think their dad does for a job at the ambulance service. We will be producing a short video similar to the one we created in March for Mother’s Day, which will be shared internally and on our social networks, to capture these special moments.

How you can get involved:

  1. Download and print the attached 'easy sheet’. Each sheet has a question that you can ask your child and an area for your child to do a drawing of you at work. Questions to ask are:

    • What does your dad do for a job?
    • What is something you dad always says to you?
    • What makes dad happy?
    • How does your dad make you laugh?
    • What is her favourite thing to do?
    • What is your dad really good at?
    • What is your dad not very good at?
  2. Use your mobile phone to record your child answering these questions. You don’t have to ask all the questions – these are only a guide. Here's some top tips for recording a video on your mobile.

  3. Send your video and drawing to internalcommunications@eastamb.nhs.uk. Please include the name and ages of the children who feature in the video, along with your name, job title and location.

  4. Sign the consent form.

Deadline for submitting all videos and pictures is Friday 5th June.
