Calling support services: do you know how to save a life?

EEAST RRVs and amb on scene

For many in support services, saving a person’s life is not something we see every day.

But would you know what to do in a life-threatening emergency?

The Quality Improvement and Professional Standards (QIPS) team will be holding a compression only CPR and automated external defibrillators (AED) awareness day on Friday, 9th June.

It’s the chance for any non-patient facing staff and volunteers to drop in throughout the day, try compression only CPR, and develop an understanding of how an AED is used.

You can drop in to the ground floor meeting room one at the Bedford office next Friday between 10am to 3pm.

If you require any further information or have any questions, please contact us at QIPS@eastamb.nhs.uk
