The Health Service Journal (HSJ) 2017 awards are now open for entries, and this year will be recognising outstanding efficiency and improvement within the NHS.

In a time when the NHS has to make unprecedented savings, the HSJ wants to reward excellent use of resources in the following categories:

  • Improving the Value of Surgical Services
  • Improving Value in the Care of Frail Older Patients
  • Improving Value through Innovative Financial Management or Procurement
  • Managing Long-Term Conditions
  • Mental Health
  • Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation
  • Specialist Services
  • The Use of Information Technology to Drive Value in Clinical Services
  • Training and Development
  • Workforce Efficiency

Entries must be received by 11th November; the awards ceremony will take place on 24th May at Grosvenor House, London.
