Since Monday, we have been celebrating the work of our community first responders (CFRs) to coincide with National Volunteer Week.
Many of our CFRs have been telling us on social media and on our blog why they volunteer:
I became a #CFR after I did a First Aid at Work course and discovered how easy it is to make a massive difference. #CFRTakeover

I became a #CFR to support my community, and improve my first aid skills. I also volunteer for @norlsar and @ns4x4R. #CFRTakeover

CFRs have also been talking to the local media about what they do and we are also launching a new training website for them to make their annual refresher training easier.
You can follow the takeover week on Twitter or by following the #CFRtakeover.
Watch the Trust’s Regional Lead for Community Partnership Lorna Hayes talk about how the week has gone so far.
