On Monday 19th August, Jacob Bullock, a community first responder (CFR) in Norfolk, will be taking part in a skydive to raise funds for a new West Norfolk CFR Car.

Jacob is currently a CFR with one of the Walpole’s and West Winch CFR groups, whilst he also studies medicine at the University of East Anglia (UEA).

Jacob said: “Whilst on placement at university and working in the medical field, I have seen the hugely positive effect that CFRs have on the community and individuals who they help.

They are a pivotal component of the ambulance service and continue to give up their own time to aid others.”

There have been a number of fundraising events in the West Norfolk area with the Walpole’s and West Winch CFR groups working hard to raise funds for the new car.

Jacob said: “I am taking part in this skydive to hopefully raise in the region of £2500 so that another CFR car can be purchased to aid the West Norfolk region.

Any donation is appreciated, and all funds will go towards this lifesaving scheme!”

Jacob is planning to post the skydive on social media once he has completed it, so keep an eye out to see how it goes. In the meantime, if you’d like to support Jacob and his CFR group you can visit his GoFundMe page here.
