A change in REAP level

The Trust has reduced its REAP level to moderate pressure.

Following a weekly review of the level yesterday (20th March) , the Trust has returned to REAP level 2.

The REAP level is reviewed on a weekly basis taking into account the next seven-day predicted position.

The Trust has seen a change in the hospital handover delays, which has been a significant challenge over the past months, although there are still have some challenges in specific locations.

Staffing levels have increased and the Trust has seen some improvement in performance.

Kevin Brown, Director of Service Delivery, said: “We potentially face some challenges over part of Easter and a REAP review will be completed again ahead of this.

“We hope to be able to avoid an increase by increasing our staffing levels and a separate bulletin over incentivised working will be issued this week.”
