Changes to recruitment approval process

From today (1^st October), if you have a team vacancy that sits within your agreed structure and budget you can recruit to it without getting executive management board (EMB) approval.

A new approval to recruit (R1) form is now available on East24 for you to fill out and send to recruitmentapprovals@eastamb.nhs.uk.

Please note that for any newly created posts or those which sit outside of your budgeted establishment and/or current structure your completed Approval to Recruit (R1) form will also need sign off by your Director/Head of Department before submitting. These requests will still be forwarded to EMB for final approval before any recruitment activity can progress.
