Changing our culture

Visions and values pic

Last year the Board recognised that we need to challenge and change our culture and the first part of this was launching a new set of vision, values and expected behaviours.

The Board also commissioned a cultural audit to be carried out by an external and independent provider – Zeal Solution. To kick start the process, facilitators from Zeal will be working on a cultural audit for the Trust.

In February Zeal will be holding a series of Staff Groups with a sample of staff who are representative of the different staff groups within the Trust.  The purpose will be to help develop common themes from staff that can then be developed into a cultural staff survey.  This survey will be sent to all staff in March and we very much hope we have a good response rate, so everyone has their say.

The results of the survey will help us to understand our culture and the impact our culture has on staff health and well-being. Importantly, the results will also be used to help identify areas for improvement and development and areas of outstanding practice.  This is an opportunity for every member of staff to have their say about their current experiences and about the future development of the Trust.

We will keep you updated on progress and when the survey will be coming out.
