Charles puts his photography skills to good use

More than £5,000 has been raised for the Alzheimer’s Society by Charles Joseph, who works for the patient transport service.

The certificate was presented at a celebrating success day held by the society’s volunteer engagement network. Charles said: “I am a research network volunteer and dementia friend, as well as a fundraising representative, where I attend functions and events to give talks.  “This is a subject that I am passionate about because I lost my mother due to this cruel and destructive disease last year.”

Although the Alzheimer’s Society is where Charles does most of his charity work, he also helps to raise funds for Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, The Army Benevolent Fund and Headway Essex, for which he recently helped raise £9,000. He has managed to do this by putting his photography skills to use.

Well done Charles, it’s great to see such dedication to these worthy causes.
