Changes within the Clinical Quality Directorate

You will be aware that there have been a number of changes within the Clinical Quality directorate recently.

To ensure that we continue to move forward, support our teams and the wider Trust we have appointed two acting positions:

Simon Chase  as Deputy Director of Clinical Quality and Ashley Richardson  as Deputy Clinical Director.

They will work alongside Lewis Andrews as the Head of Quality Improvement, forming our directorate senior leadership team.

As a clinical team we are changing how we function to ensure that we remain responsive as a clinical team to you.

With this in mind you may notice some subtle changes; firstly we want to promote how to get in contact with us:

For the Clinical Leads:, this email address is for use by anybody in the Trust with general enquiries or requests for advice, guidance and support from the clinical team. Please email members of the directorate senior leadership team directly.

Area Clinical Leads will now be known as Clinical Leads, and will form part of a centralised team (each sector will have a named point of contact within the team).

Our Quality Improvement and Professional Standards Officers will share a common, joint work plan within the clinical team.  This will look to capitalise on the experience and expertise within the team, meaning that we are truly responsive to you.

Through the work of Simon, Ashley and Lewis we are exploring possible opportunities to come and join our team on a fixed term basis.
