Clinical Manual app shortlisted for national award

Our Clinical Manual app has been short listed in the prestigious Health Service Journal (HSJ) awards!

The app, which launched in October, is in the ‘use of technology to drive value in clinical services’ category at the Value in Healthcare Awards.

I think we can all agree that this is a fantastic achievement by the team who put so much hard work in to the app, which was the first of its kind in a UK ambulance service.

Lewis Andrews, EEAST’s Quality Improvement and Professional Standards Lead, was part of the app development team: “I am delighted that the clinical app has been shortlisted for this award. It demonstrates how technology can be harnessed to give you, our staff and volunteers, the information you need at the touch of a button to support in delivering excellent patient care.

“Thank you again to the entire team of people behind the app for their efforts.”

Lewis and his colleagues now have to present the app to a judging panel in April, with winner to be announced in May.

Good luck!

Have you downloaded your copy of the app yet? It’s available on iOS or Android phones and tablets, and you should have received an email to your work account with your unique download link. Can’t find the email or want to know more about the app? Have a read of our handy FAQs.
